Carnaby Temple
This was built by the Strickland family of Boynton Hall in the 18th century. It was briefly used as a lookout post during World War II, but basically it is just a folly. It is octagonal and supposed to be loosely based on the Greek Temple of the Four Winds. The photos show how it looks on a fine day and also how bleak it can be in a blizzard.
